Ayangue is one of my favorite little towns in Ecuador. What I love most about this place is the sudden tranquility you feel the moment you walk though the doors. I absolutely love all of the outside space this property offers. Built into the side of a hill, the owners have truly designed a work of art. The main entrance opens up to a covered patio area with very unique tile work and lots of space for hammocks, tables and chairs. There are two other beautiful places to just chill and relax. One is a grassy knoll area and the other is a Jacuzzi with a rock waterfall. This Jacuzzi is a total haven for you to let all of your anxieties just melt away as you lower yourself into the hot, bubbling water. The main unit in this building has a a very quaint patio area off of the kitchen. The l-shaped living room and kitchen is warm and inviting. The other first floor unit is a smaller one bedroom located off of the entrance way covered patio area. The second floor apartment has two bedrooms. There is also a rooftop terrace that can be finished for more living space.
