About the Area
Situated along the Pacific Ocean in the province of Manabí sits one of Ecuador´s most important commercial hubs, Manta, boasting the country´s largest maritime port; a commercial center driven by fishing and tourism and a quietly growing expat community. Its commercial infrastructure continues to thrive with 4 and 5 star hotels and business centers, quality restaurants, and an international airport. The last 3 years have seen incredible growth, with tourists and business personnel alike coming to the area to enjoy its beautiful beaches, perfect climate, and world-class seafood cuisine.
Manta´s history as a commercial hub began many years ago when the conquering Incas used the area as a trade hub between indigenous tribe along the Ecuadorean coast. But with government works heavily invested in the area, Manta´s history is still being written. For those seeking a more sophisticated way of life, luxury condos and villas (and huge investment opportunity), Manta is an ideal location to check out.

Meet the Developers
Oscar´s work is perhaps best characterized as possessing a solid technical base with an innovative and aesthetic flair. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction field, he has attained a wide variety of engineering awards for designing many of Ecuador´s largest buildings, infrastructure projects, and for unique projects which boast Ecuador´s prestigious Ornato award, like the Mykonos building in Manta.
But to say Oscar possesses a wide array of construction experience does not begin to cover his accomplishments. He continues to work as a public investigator for a number of major universities, and has literally written the book on hydraulic engineering in Ecuador, which continues to be utilized by a number of academic institutions.
