Overview

For those wishing to live in Cuenca old town, you really couldn’t choose a better place. The project is made up of 26 apartments overlooking the River Tomebamba and 3 trade premises on Calle Larga.

One of a Kind Homes by the River

Only three blocks from Parque Calderon, Cuenca’s main square, and an easy stroll to nearby restaurants, galleries, museums, markets and shops, Casas del Ciprés is only a few minutes walk from the newer part of town where you’ll find a modern supermarket, two small malls (one of which includes a multiplex cinema), Parque de la Madre and footpaths that run along the River Tomebamba.

As with our past projects, we will make ample use of natural light and the incredible views of the river and surrounding mountains by incorporating two patios and a large communal garden. Almost all the apartments will have views of the surrounding mountains from private terraces. The project takes its name from the ancient cypress tree located on the river bank in front of this property and will preserve the existing trees found on the land.

About the Area

CASAS DEL CIPRÉS

Located on the famed Barranco in Cuenca (Ecuador) and built overlooking the River Tomebamba, Casas del Ciprés is the sixth project created by property developer Inmobiliaria San Alberto Magno (ISAM) in Cuenca in the southern Andes. Cuenca is Ecuador’s third-largest city and is known for its colonial architecture and relaxed pace of life which is attracting new residents from all over the world.

Cuenca is the most popular destination within Ecuador for people looking to live or retire abroad. The combination of its historic city center (declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999), high quality health care and mild climate - with average highs of 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Farenheit) and lows of 9 degrees Celsius (48 degrees Farenheit) - have made it an attractive destination. Cuenca is also easily accessible, with daily flights to both Quito and Guayaquil.
